What Type Of Gas Does A Jeep Wrangler Take?

If you own a Jeep Wrangler, you must ensure that the correct sort of gas is in the tank. Jeep recommends using 87-octane normal unleaded gasoline in Wrangler cars, but you can use 91 or 93 octane if you like. In other words, you should fill up with the same gas that is available at the majority of gas stations, as this is what the majority of other vehicles use.

However, if you have an older Wrangler, you may be allowed to use lower-octane fuel. Although it is not suggested, it could be an excellent way to save money at the pump. Just ensure that your engine is compatible with the lower octane petrol by consulting your owner’s handbook before you fill up.

Regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 is therefore the optimal fuel for your Jeep Wrangler. If you have an older model and wish to save money, you may be allowed to use lower-octane petrol; however, you should first consult your owner’s manual.
