Good Manufacturing
Practices Award - 2009
Backdraft Racing - Reg
Dodd
“In the replica car industry
manufactures have come and gone. They are many reasons
for this and the two most important reasons the keep a
company vibrant in the industry is a quality product and
great customer support. Backdraft Racing has done both
of these.
It is a relatively new cobra builder
compared to others. They first arrived on the North
America scene in 2002. What they brought to us is a
cobra with some unique features, one of these being BMW
suspension including a front strut shock and spindle
arrangement. If it is BMW you know it is going to be
good.
Backdraft owners love their cars and
preach to others of the quality and features. The
first time I saw a Backdraft and looked the car over I
could not help but marvel at the quality and engineering
of the whole roller package that they provide. I asked
the owner if it handled as good as it looked. His
response was an emphatic “yes!”.
Since their introduction in 2002 the
owner ranks have grown and so too has a strong loyalty
been earned by Backdraft from these ranks.
Backdraft is a strong supporter of the
industry and of the shows that
support it like oUr Fun Under the Sun show.
For all these reasons that is why the
AHA has proudly awarded our 2009 GMP to Backdraft
Racing."
