David Hartman - R.I.P.

Hartman, David P., 62, Lake Forest, died 06 Nov 09 of liver failure at the VA Hospital, Long Beach. He was a Marine veteran, sail plane pilot, ham radio operator and editor for the AHA. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Chaffee; sisters, Joanne Cattoni (Oregon) and Suzanne Brown; brothers, Todd Little and Dr. Jack Little (Washington), and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be cremated and buried at sea.

David Hartman's last run with his friends of the A.H.A. was this past October to Laughlin, Nevada for the annual "Kit Cars on the Colorado" - a run he and his GT40 had made many times before.  For the past 10 plus years, David has been the voice of "The Fuel Line," our club newsletter.  We remember Dave in his giving of himself over the years at all of our club events and functions and the familiarity of his GT40 being present anytime the A.H.A. was on the go.  We will miss him.
