Ron Biggerstaff - Super Step Side
Ron Biggerstaff of Loma Linda
California built his Super Stepside Sport Truck utilizing a
body kit from designer builder Don Fuselier (www.superstepside.com).
- The
donor vehicle is a low mileage 1990 Chevy Caprice Vin
Code 7 (police) sedan.
- The
suspension has been rebuilt and converted to air ride
(kit from Air Ride Technologies).
- The
TBI 5.7 engine remains stock, emissions legal and will
grunt out about 200 hp during a full moon.
- A
heavily modified roll top cover from Pace Edwards closes
out the bed.
- Some
red apple tinted pearl coat paint, a set of 18 inch
Akuza Wheels and 255/45 series Yokohama Tires completes
the exterior of the truck.
- The
Chevy speedometer, etc, were discarded in favor of
Nordskog Instruments.
- A
custom interior and a new sound system have been
installed.
Ron has
been a member of the AHA for twenty-four years and enjoys
showing the truck at club events and other car shows around
the Southern California area.
